Evacuation Efforts Amidst Hamas Attack: Romania and Hungary Safeguard Their Citizens in Israel

In the midst of the ongoing multi-front attack by Gaza militants, both Romania and Hungary have undertaken significant efforts to ensure the safety of their citizens in Israel. The Romanian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday morning that a total of 460 of their citizens have been successfully flown out of Israel, marking a crucial step in safeguarding their well-being.

The evacuation process was executed through the deployment of four aircraft, comprising two from the state-owned airline TAROM and two operated by private airlines. These planes were instrumental in swiftly transporting Romanian citizens out of the conflict zone, ensuring their security during these challenging times.

Among the evacuated individuals were two groups of pilgrims, highlighting the diverse nature of the Romanian citizens affected by the ongoing situation in Israel. The Romanian government, in close coordination with the relevant authorities, prioritized the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad, demonstrating their commitment to their citizens’ welfare.

Similarly, Hungary took proactive measures to secure the safety of its citizens in Israel. A total of 215 Hungarian citizens were airlifted out of Tel Aviv, facilitated by the deployment of two military planes. These evacuations were carried out in response to the large-scale attack initiated by Hamas militants on Israel.

The Hungarian Air Force planes, identified as two Airbus A319 aircraft, played a pivotal role in ensuring the safe return of Hungarian citizens to their homeland. These aircraft were part of the standby resources available to the Hungarian government, illustrating their readiness to respond swiftly to crises and protect their citizens.
