The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has disclosed that in the aftermath of Israel’s retaliatory airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, over 123,000 Palestinians have been internally displaced.
These individuals were forced to flee either due to concerns for their safety or because their homes were destroyed during the Israeli military strikes.

The Israeli airstrikes were launched in response to an unprecedented multi-pronged attack initiated by the ruling Hamas faction in Gaza on Saturday.
According to OCHA’s findings, Gaza’s Ministry of Public Works and Housing has reported the destruction of 159 housing units, with an additional 1,210 structures severely damaged as a result of the Israeli campaign.
Furthermore, the Israeli airstrikes have inflicted damage upon water and sanitation infrastructure, affecting the lives of more than 400,000 people. Additionally, several health facilities have also been impacted by these strikes.
