Skales faces threats after exposing alleged oppression by EFCC

Popular singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, widely known as Skales, has expressed concerns about receiving threats after speaking out against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding an alleged incident of oppression by the agency’s operatives.

Skales recently made headlines when he accused heavily armed EFCC operatives of breaking into his home and falsely accusing him of fraud. He claimed that he and his family were subjected to intimidation, including a panic attack, which was exacerbated by his ongoing health issues. Additionally, he stated that his producer sustained injuries during the incident.

Taking to his social media handle on Tuesday morning, Skales revealed that he had been threatened following his decision to speak out about the alleged mistreatment by EFCC operatives.

In his post on X, the ‘Shake Body’ singer wrote, “I was just threatened for speaking out now.”

Skales’ decision to share his experience with the public sheds light on the challenges and concerns individuals may face when dealing with law enforcement agencies, and the subsequent threats he has received emphasize the need for addressing such issues transparently and ensuring the safety and well-being of those who come forward with their grievances.
