Nigerian House of Representatives member, Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, passes away

It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, a distinguished member of the House of Representatives in Nigeria. Danbuga, who represented the Isa-Sabon Birni Federal Constituency, breathed his last after a brief illness.

A devoted member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Danbuga had been admitted to a medical facility on Tuesday, where he fought bravely against his ailment. Regrettably, he succumbed to his illness.

The late lawmaker’s funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. in Sokoto State, where friends, family, and colleagues will pay their final respects. In mourning his loss, it is worth noting that Danbuga leaves behind two wives, numerous children, and grandchildren.

Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga’s passing is a great loss not only to his family and constituents but also to the Nigerian political landscape. His dedication and service to the nation will be remembered and appreciated. May he rest in peace.
