Sabinus, the skit maker, explains the decision behind cutting his iconic dreadlocks

Popular skit maker and content creator, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as Sabinus, recently shared his reasons for shaving off his signature dreadlocks.

During an interview with Channels TV, Sabinus clarified that he initially grew the dreadlocks for branding purposes. However, he ultimately chose to part ways with the iconic hairstyle to allow new ideas to flow freely.

Sabinus explained, “I cut my dreadlocks because it affects my thinking sometimes; it was as if I was carrying luggage on my head. So, I decided to shave. Low cut was the hair I used to achieve fame, but I later adopted the dreadlocks for branding purposes. Now, I’m back to my low cut to see if it will bring a fresh wave of creativity.”

The decision to part with his dreadlocks was a strategic move, and Sabinus is eagerly awaiting the creative inspiration that may come with this change.
