Governor Senator Uba Sani of Kaduna State has issued a stern warning against the fr@#dulent sale of forms for palliatives and social register databases in the state.

Muhammad Lawal Shehu, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, emphasized the state government’s commitment to ensuring that palliatives reach the deserving recipients.
Shehu stated, “The state government condemns the unwholesome act by criminal elements in our midst. Members of the public are hereby informed that there are no forms being sold under any pretext for palliatives or the Social Register.”
Governor Uba Sani established the KDSG Palliatives Committee in July 2023 to develop a framework for the distribution of palliatives. The committee is known for its inclusivity, with representation from various sectors including labor unions, religious and traditional leaders, civil society organizations, local government chairpersons, and more.

Residents of Kaduna State are encouraged to contact their respective Local Government Councils for information on the procedures to be included in the Kaduna State Social Register. They are also urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or diversions of palliatives to the appropriate authorities, as offenders will be prosecuted according to the law.
