Ike Onyema expresses desire to maintain friendship with Mercy, citing past experiences

Ike Onyema, a former participant of the Big Brother Naija reality show, has revealed that he and his former partner, Mercy Eke, have chosen to maintain a friendship rather than rekindling their romantic relationship. He emphasized that in his view, revisiting past relationships often leads to unsatisfactory outcomes.

Ike participated in Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show, which was hosted by Tacha, another reality TV star. During the show, he candidly expressed his perspective on their relationship. He explained, “I didn’t rekindle my relationship with Mercy in the just concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars season because we are better off as friends. At least for me, I always feel like when you go back to an ex, you might not always get what you want.”
