Following Manchester City’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has provided insight into the clash that occurred in the tunnel after the match.

The intense match was ultimately decided by Gabriel Martinelli’s late goal at the Emirates Stadium.

Tempers flared post-match, with players like Walker and Erling Haaland visibly expressing frustration as they left the field in north London.

In an interview during his time with the England national team this week, Walker explained the incident, stating, “I don’t take losing lightly. In a couple of previous matches, Nico, who worked for Man City, refused to shake hands when we won against them. But when we lost, he extended his hand, and I didn’t take it well. It’s as simple as that.”

He added, “I’ve been focusing on England, but I’ll probably reach out to him, for sure. I’ll say it might have been a bit too much.”
