In a statement released on Saturday by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, the COAS affirmed that plans were underway to enhance the service delivery of Army hospitals throughout the country. These improvements aim to ensure that the hospitals are well-equipped to handle battle casualties effectively.
During the Passing Out Parade of 6,000 Recruits of the 85 Regular Recruit Intake, the COAS reemphasized the Nigerian Army’s dedication to providing troops with the training and welfare they rightfully deserve. He stated that a current focus is on renovating accommodation facilities that were in a deplorable state, with additional efforts directed toward providing new accommodations.
Lt. Gen. Lagbaja stressed that soldiers should have access to the best accommodation the service can offer when they are not on the frontline, reiterating the Nigerian Army’s commitment to their well-being.
