However In most cases, it is the child’s grandmother or grand step-mother that would stay during the period of ọmụgwọ. In their absence, the mother-in-law will replace the grandmother or grand step-mother.

Furthermore The importance of this practice is that it helps the new mother learn and be guided on the process of childcare through the experience of her mother or mother-in-law, it guides them on becoming a mother, by providing knowledge and support

The young Lady who choses to remain anonymous in the now viral video was clearly dissatisfied with the situation that has become paramount where mothers would come over for this traditional practice

and instead of settling down to help the nursing mother and be of good behavior, would rather start being Bias and feel even the more relaxed stating that it was their tur to take charge of their usually sons, houses and enjoy a little bit.

She urged mothers and sons who’s mum’s were guilty of his to desist from doing so as they are not setting a good example for others to follow.
