Edo State Police Commissioner decorates newly promoted officers

In a formal ceremony, the Commissioner of Police for Edo State, Muhammed Dankwara, oversaw the decoration of 11 recently promoted officers from the state’s police command. The event, representing the acting Inspector General of Police, Egbetokun Olokayode, recognized these officers’ hard work and dedication.

Among the newly promoted officers were a Deputy Commissioner of Police, two Assistant Commissioners of Police, five Chief Superintendents of Police, and three Superintendents of Police. Commissioner Dankwara emphasized that these promotions came with additional responsibilities and encouraged the officers to maintain the highest standards of conduct.

Dankwara also delivered a message to the newly promoted officers, urging them to serve as exemplary ambassadors of the Force. He reminded them of the importance of upholding their ranks and the need to perform their duties with utmost care and diligence. As they ascend the ranks, the Commissioner emphasized that their actions would be closely scrutinized by their peers and the public, underscoring the significance of their roles within the police force.
