Wike made this statement when he received APC leaders from Rivers State, led by the National Vice Chairman of APC, South-South, Mr. Victor Giadom, during their visit to him in Abuja.
Wike acknowledged that the president has the right to prioritize the interests of his political party, but he emphasized that President Tinubu must also consider the broader interests of all Nigerians.
“Mr. President, having emerged, is not just the president of the APC but a president of Nigeria. While the president is governing the country, he must also consider the interests of his political party. Nobody can stop that; it is natural,” Wike stated.
