Aisha Yesufu criticizes Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to President Tinubu

Renowned socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu, has expressed her disapproval of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s recent visit to President Bola Tinubu.

Goodluck Jonathan was seen at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, and reports indicated that he was there to congratulate President Tinubu on the Supreme Court’s affirmation of his election.

After a closed-door meeting with Tinubu, Jonathan commented on the need for past presidents to unite and devise solutions to alleviate poverty among the masses, stating that election matters were in the past, and it was time to support Tinubu.

However, Aisha Yesufu took to her X handle to criticize the former president, saying, “Jonathan still sees himself as that child without shoes,” and referred to the concept of the “law of the lid.”

She added, “What I have been saying for years. He made Buhari an option. A man he easily defeated in 2011. Even the killings under his administration, he always found them amusing. People romanticized his administration and had Buhari’s failure turning him into the hero he never was.”
