Major General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), has issued a stern warning to potential troublemakers planning to disrupt the gubernatorial polls scheduled for November 11 in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states.

The CDS made this statement during a press conference following the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) meeting held in Abuja.

Musa assured the residents of Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi that there was no need for fear. He emphasized the commitment of the Armed Forces to supporting the police in ensuring that the elections in these states are conducted freely and fairly.
