Nigeria can thrive with righteous leaders, says CAC President

Pastor Samuel Oladele, the President of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, expressed that Nigerians should not have to endure suffering when righteous individuals are in positions of power. He made this statement during a thanksgiving event as part of the final burial ceremony for Pastor Michael Ojo Olowere, the founder of CAC Oke Agbara in Ashi, Ibadan.

Pastor Oladele emphasized the importance of righteousness in the leadership of the nation. He believes that Nigeria is abundantly blessed with resources but continues to face challenges due to the absence of righteousness in leadership.

In his words, “Righteousness exalts a nation, and the preachers are those who preached righteousness. Nigeria is blessed with enormous resources, but look at where we are today. We should have no business suffering from poverty because there is no righteousness in the country.”

He went on to stress the role of preachers, pastors, and prophets in promoting righteousness. These spiritual leaders encourage their members to demonstrate righteous living and ethical behavior. According to Oladele, when the people act righteously, the nation will begin to see the positive outcomes of righteousness.

In conclusion, he emphasized that preachers play a crucial role in the moral foundation of the nation, as they teach and inspire individuals to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. With righteousness and ethical leadership, Nigeria can thrive and make better use of its abundant resources.

The thanksgiving event was attended by prominent figures such as former Ekiti State Governor Chief Segun Oni, former CAC President Pastor Abraham Akinosun, and the General Evangelist of CAC, Pastor Hezekiah Oladeji.
