Oseni and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Jesutega Onokpasa had a heated exchange during a show on the TV station, where they disagreed on issues such as President Bola Tinubu’s removal of fuel subsidies and the country’s general economic situation.
The incident prompted reactions from Nigerians, particularly supporters of the current administration, who accused Rufai of displaying bias.
In response to the situation, Kula took to his official Facebook page to express his opinion. He stated, “There is no need for any responsible citizen of this country to participate in any program on Arise TV that Rufai will be hosting. He is regrettably ignorant of journalistic ethics, lacking the basic manners, courtesy, and professional principles.”
