Ikeja Electric (IE) celebrated its 10th anniversary, highlighting significant achievements and its commitment to excellence in Nigeria’s energy sector. During this milestone event, the company’s CEO, Folake Soetan, announced that Ikeja Electric has deployed 830,292 meters to customers over the last decade.

Ms. Soetan also celebrated a remarkable reduction in Aggregate Technical Commercial & Collection (ATC&C) losses, from 44 percent in 2015 to an impressive rate slightly below 20 percent, achieved through collective efforts in operational efficiency and sustainable energy practices.

The chairman of the board of directors, Kola Adesina, recognized the dedication and agility of the staff, setting Ikeja Electric apart as a trailblazer in the Nigerian energy sector. He highlighted the transformative journey of the company since 2013 when they strategically rebranded from IKEDC to IE in 2015. Adesina commended the team for launching a bilateral project in 2019, introducing a 24-hour dedicated service for bilateral operations, and adopting automated payment channels to enhance customer experiences.
