Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has taken decisive action to restore power supply to the Kaduna State University’s Kafanchan and Kaduna campuses. The power supply to these campuses had been disconnected due to outstanding debts incurred by the institution.

Governor Sani has directed the prompt settlement of all outstanding debts accrued in 2022 to the Kaduna Electric Company, ensuring the swift restoration of power supply to the affected university campuses.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, conveyed that Governor Sani, upon learning of the prolonged power outage affecting both campuses, instructed the Commissioner of Education, Professor Muhammad Sani Bello, to investigate the root causes of the blackout.
Highlighting the importance of education as a major priority of Governor Uba Sani’s administration, the governor has reaffirmed his commitment to implementing interventions and initiatives aimed at alleviating the challenges faced by students in all state-owned tertiary institutions.
