Rep. Nnamchi expresses gratitude to Court of Appeal for election affirmation

Paul Nnamchi, a member of the House of Representatives representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency of Enugu State under the LP (Labour Party), has extended his appreciation to the Court of Appeal for upholding his election.

Nnamchi conveyed his gratitude in a statement following the Court of Appeal’s decision in Lagos that reversed the Enugu Electoral Petitions Tribunal’s ruling, which had initially nullified his election to the Green Chamber. He considers the court’s verdict a validation of the people’s choice in the National Assembly election held on February 25, 2023.

The lawmaker, deeply appreciative of his constituents’ support and confidence, pledged to intensify his efforts in effectively representing the people in the federal legislature. He reaffirmed his commitment to enacting people-centered legislation and addressing the concerns of his constituents and all Nigerians at the parliamentary level.

Nnamchi also extended a hand of fellowship to his rival, Cornelius Nnaji of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), emphasizing a spirit of no victor and no vanquished.
