Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu offers condolences to Governor Soludo on father’s passing

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his condolences to Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State following the passing of his father, Pa Simeon Soludo, at the age of 92.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed that Pa Soludo had lived a fulfilling life. He urged Governor Soludo, the Soludo family, friends, associates, and the residents of Umueze, Isuofia community, and the entire Anambra State to honor the late nonagenarian’s good name through lasting tributes.

The Lagos Governor stated, “On behalf of the people of Lagos State and my beloved wife, Ibijoke, I offer my condolences to my colleague, Governor Charles Soludo, on the loss of his dear father, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo. I also extend my heartfelt sympathies to the entire Soludo family and the people of Anambra State.”

He emphasized that Pa Soludo’s wise counsel would be greatly missed, not only by his family but by the entire community of Umueze, Isuofia, and the people of Anambra State.

Governor Sanwo-Olu concluded by praying for eternal rest for Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo and for the family to find the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
