Young John opens up, embracing freedom and challenging monogamy

Renowned record producer and singer, John Saviours Udomboso, popularly known as Young John, has candidly shared his perspective on monogamy, explaining why he doesn’t subscribe to the concept.

In a recent episode of actress Toke Makinwa’s podcast, TokeMoments, Young John attributed his inclination away from monogamy to his inherent desire for freedom, stating, “I don’t want to be limited to just one woman. I am just free.”

Contrary to the common belief that individuals in the music and entertainment industry are inherently promiscuous, Young John emphasized that everyone engages in diverse relationships, but not all are as visible about it. Musicians, due to the public nature of their lives, have their personal affairs exposed for everyone to see.

Young John clarified that his polygamous inclination isn’t solely because of the industry he is in. From a young age, he questioned conventional norms, especially the idea of one man being committed to one woman. This curiosity fueled his desire to explore different relationship dynamics, avoiding the term “fantasies” but expressing a genuine interest in diverse experiences.

Expressing uncertainty about marriage, Young John conveyed that unless he encounters a woman who can alter his perspective on love and marriage, he remains open to exploring unconventional routes.
