APC National Chairman Ganduje congratulates Uzodimma and Ododo on gubernatorial victories in Imo and Kogi

Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended congratulations to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State for securing re-election in the recently concluded governorship poll. In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Edwin Olofu, Ganduje expressed satisfaction with the resounding support demonstrated by the Kogi electorate, leading to the election of Ahmed Ododo as the state’s governor.

The APC chairman highlighted the electoral successes of both Uzodimma and Ododo as a testament to the widespread acceptance of the APC among Nigerians. He emphasized that the victories underscored the citizens’ appreciation for the delivery of democracy dividends by Governor Uzodimma and the outgoing Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

Ganduje affirmed the party’s commitment to fulfilling its promises and delivering good governance. He assured the people of Imo and Kogi States that Uzodimma would continue his developmental initiatives, while Ododo would build upon the commendable legacies of Governor Bello.

Expressing joy about the electoral outcomes, Ganduje emphasized the citizens’ desire for continuity, peace, and sustainable growth in their states. He called on members of opposition parties to accept their defeat gracefully, commending them as true democrats. Ganduje noted the importance of a viable opposition in maintaining a healthy democratic process.

Addressing defeated candidates, the APC national chairman encouraged them to collaborate with Uzodimma and the incoming governor of Kogi, Ahmed Ododo, in advancing the progress of their respective states. Ganduje acknowledged the spirited battles fought by all contenders, assuring them that opportunities for testing their level of acceptability among the electorate would arise again in the future.
