CNPP extends congratulations to Governor Uzodinma on Imo gubernatorial victory

The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has extended its congratulations to the re-elected governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma. The victory was secured by Uzodinma and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship election held on November 11, as officially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Announcing the results, the State Returning Officer, Prof Abayomi Fashina, confirmed Uzodinma’s triumph over contenders from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and Action Alliance (AA).

In a statement signed by James Ezema, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of CNPP, the organization acknowledged the dynamics of politics as a numerical game where only one winner emerges. The CNPP congratulated Governor Hope Uzodinma on emerging victorious in the 2023 Imo State governorship election.

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace, the CNPP urged the public to uphold a peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the organization encouraged any aggrieved party or individual to pursue legal avenues to seek redress, underlining the significance of the rule of law in resolving electoral disputes.
