Formerly the Deputy National Secretary, Koshoedo steps into the role of National Secretary on an interim basis, pending the resolution of an ongoing legal case in the Enugu High Court. The announcement was made by the PDP acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, after the NWC meeting held on Tuesday.
Damagum emphasized the necessity of Koshoedo’s appointment to ensure the seamless operation of the party amid the legal proceedings. He stated, “We decided that the Deputy National Secretary should take over in an acting capacity pending the resolution of the Court case.”
Furthermore, Damagum directed all parties involved in the court case to adhere to the party’s due process, calling for a stand-down of actions related to the legal dispute. He disclosed that the appointment was made in light of conflicting court orders regarding the position of the National Secretary, emphasizing the party’s commitment to navigating legal complexities in a fair and transparent manner.
