In a video circulating on social media, Mr Real expressed his frustration, blaming Idowest’s alleged greed for hindering their financial success, particularly from the song “Legbegbe” in which they collaborated.
He stated, “We are supposed to have houses in Island judging by the virality of our songs; ‘Legbegbe’ was everywhere, ‘Shekpeteri’ was everywhere. But you [Idowest] didn’t allow us to make money because of your greed.”
Mr Real went on to claim that the popular song “Shekpeteri” originally belonged to a DJ and had been created by a different group before Idowest allegedly took it and produced his version with Slimcase. He concluded by urging Idowest to apologize for his actions.
