Daniel Amokachi joins coaching course in Morocco, set to obtain CAF A license

Daniel Amokachi, former Super Eagles forward, has embarked on a coaching training course in Agadir, Morocco, along with 29 other coaches. The comprehensive program is designed to culminate in the attainment of a CAF A license for all participants, providing them with advanced coaching credentials.

The training initiative, organized by the Direction Technique Nationale (DTN) in collaboration with the Ligue Régionale Souss-Massa, has attracted a diverse group of coaches, including 25 former Moroccan players.

The course encompasses a range of activities, including theoretical sessions conducted in the classroom, model sessions led by experts, practical scenarios for candidates guided by CAF and UEFA experts, as well as mentoring and methodology sessions.

Daniel Amokachi, a seasoned figure in Nigerian football, has a rich coaching history. Initially appointed as the Super Eagles assistant coach in 2007, the 50-year-old continued to contribute in the same capacity from 2008 to 2014. Now, he seeks to further enhance his coaching expertise by obtaining the prestigious CAF A license through this intensive training program.

The collaboration between the DTN and Ligue Régionale Souss-Massa underscores the commitment to developing coaching talent and fostering football excellence in the region. As Amokachi and his fellow coaches engage in this educational journey, the expectation is that their enhanced skills will contribute positively to the growth and improvement of football standards both locally and internationally.
