FCT Minister Wike claims N110 billion saved in three months

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), asserts that he has successfully saved a significant sum of N110 billion within his first three months in office. Wike made this announcement during a meeting with the Estate Developers and Residents’ Associations held at the FCDA Conference Hall in Abuja.

Highlighting his commitment to financial management, Wike emphasizes that the saved funds will be allocated to various projects to expedite their completion. He aims to demonstrate transparency and accountability in utilizing taxpayers’ money for the benefit of the people.

Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State, further reveals plans for the Federal Capital Territory to introduce a buses and taxi scheme within the next month, indicating ongoing initiatives to enhance public transportation in the region.
