Despite the reconciliation, Basketmouth clarified in a recent interview with Arise TV that AY won’t be performing or making a cameo on stage during the event at the Eko Hotel & Suites tonight. He explained that the show’s script has already been finalized, and AY’s participation wasn’t part of the planned lineup.
Basketmouth stated, “AY is not on the bill to perform, but he has got a ticket. He’s attending. I sent him his ticket a few days ago. In actual fact, I don’t have that many comedians on the bill.”
He further elaborated on the show’s structure, emphasizing that it is a three-hour set designed for TV recording with precision timing, making impromptu performances unfeasible. While AY won’t be taking the stage, Basketmouth emphasized the significance of AY’s presence at the event.
