Danjuma accuses Diezani Alison-Madueke of unmatched corruption records

Theophilus Danjuma, former Chief of Army Staff, has alleged that former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, excelled in corruption, describing her as the only Nigerian woman he knew who achieved such notoriety.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Goodwill Medical Centre (GMC) at Umuchigbo, Iji Nike in Enugu East Local Government Area, Danjuma asserted that Diezani set a corruption record that remains unbroken.

He remarked, “I used to say that if you want anything properly done and delivered on time without any excuses, give the job to a woman, until we had a female minister of petroleum. That woman excelled in corruption. She set a record that is yet to be beaten by anybody.”

Danjuma shared this perspective while recalling his encounter with Prof. Uche Amazigo, emphasizing the contrast between his admiration for women’s efficiency and his disillusionment with Diezani’s alleged corrupt practices.
