Ex-President Jonathan applauds Stanley Uzochukwu at The Delborough Lagos grand opening

Former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, delivered an inspiring message at the grand opening of ‘The Delborough Lagos’ in Victoria Island, Lagos. During the event, Dr. Jonathan urged young Africans to follow the remarkable example set by Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, the visionary owner of the luxury brand.

Recalling his encounter with Stanley during his presidency, Dr. Jonathan shared, “Stanley came to see me when I was president. When he shared his vision with me, I told him that with this vision, I want to make young Nigerians billionaires, and you should be one of them.”

Acknowledging Stanley’s commitment to his vision, Dr. Jonathan commended him for turning the vision into reality and invited him to commission the luxury brand. He expressed his appreciation for Stanley’s accomplishments, describing him as a shining example of what young men and women in Africa can achieve.

Highlighting the changing dynamics of the global economy, Dr. Jonathan emphasized the power of positive thinking and intelligence in creating wealth. He noted that many of the world’s multi-billionaires today are below the age of 40 or 45. Dr. Jonathan praised Stanley for contributing positively to society, providing jobs, and maintaining a clean image.

Encouraging the youth to pursue success through positive means, Dr. Jonathan urged, “I want young Nigerians and Africans to emulate Stanley Uzochukwu! We are here because he is clean and is doing well, creating jobs for people without bringing image problems to this country.”

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu; former Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim; the Emir of Kano, HRH, Dr. Aminu Ado Bayero; Igwe of Onitsha Kingdom and Chairman of The Delborough Board, HRM Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, among many other local and international dignitaries.
