Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State expresses condolences to the family of the Director of Finance at the Governor’s office, Taiwo Oyekanmi, who fell victim to a de@dly robbery incident in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The unfortunate event occurred on Wednesday when a brazen gang of robbers attacked and k#lled the director, who was transporting a substantial amount of money using a bullion van between two commercial banks and the governor’s office.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Lekan Adeniran, Governor Abiodun conveyed his shock and grief over the loss. He described Taiwo Oyekanmi as a dedicated, truthful, and diligent official, emphasizing the significant impact of this tragic incident on the administration.

“It is indeed a colossal loss for our administration to have lost such a dedicated, truthful, and diligent official; his assailants have m#rdered sleep and will be flushed out immediately from wherever they might be hiding,” stated Governor Abiodun.

Vowing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident, the governor directed all security agencies in the state to swiftly apprehend the criminals responsible and ensure they face the full consequences of the law.
