According to Mr Real, attempts to reach out to D’banj and Mr Eazi have proven futile, as they no longer respond to his calls or messages. Expressing his frustration, Mr Real emphasized that while he appreciates their collaboration, he believes he is entitled to what is rightfully his.

Detailing the situation, Mr Real shared, “I have a song with D’banj. I was the one that brought my producer, Cracker, and Slimcase on board, and we made that song [‘Issa Banger’]. The song blew, and we shot the video with love and all. I’m not saying I’m being ungrateful for what you’ve done. But give me what is rightly mine. It’s my right.”

He continued, “The song is being used in movies, even American movies, and I haven’t received any royalty.”

Mr Real also addressed the issue surrounding the song ‘Overload’ with Mr Eazi, highlighting the absence of a contract and split sheet. He expressed disappointment that despite his contributions, he has not received any compensation or acknowledgment.

In a plea to his colleagues, Mr Real stressed the importance of reciprocity in the industry. He called for fairness, stating, “When I do you a favour, I expect you to render the same to me. We also need their kind of money. We want to live the Island life too. You guys should help us. I’m not calling you out for anything, but you should know you’re supposed to do this.”

The singer concluded by highlighting the challenge of getting in touch with D’banj and Mr Eazi, stating, “I know if I message you, you won’t answer me. If I call D’banj, he no dey pick my call. Mr Eazi no dey pick my call.”
