The Kaduna State Government disclosed on Monday that the Nigerian Army had taken responsibility for the incident, terming it an “unfortunate and unintended attack.”
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, Speaker Abbas expressed worry about the loss of innocent lives during the lawful activities of the residents. He called for a thorough investigation by the Nigerian Army to understand the circumstances leading to such a “costly mistake.”
Tajudeen emphasized, “The Nigerian Army should leave no stone unturned to unravel what happened with a view to forestalling a repeat of such an unfortunate incident.”

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Kaduna State, especially the families affected by the tragedy.
