Heartland Coach Kennedy Boboye urges players to break winless streak against Bendel Insurance

Heartland’s head coach, Kennedy Boboye, is acknowledging the challenges ahead as his team prepares to face Bendel Insurance at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Wednesday.

Despite securing a draw against high-flying Shooting Stars in Ibadan last weekend, the Naze Millionaires find themselves at the bottom of the table, still in search of their first victory this season.

Boboye emphasized the need for the players to elevate their performance against Bendel Insurance to break the ongoing winless streak. Reflecting on the commendable effort in Ibadan, he stated, “The players fought very well in Ibadan and they got a point. They have been commended on that. They know we cannot continue to dwell on that with another game against Bendel Insurance on Wednesday.”

Acknowledging that they are not currently at the desired position, Boboye expressed confidence in the team’s ability to strive for better results. Recognizing Bendel Insurance as a formidable opponent, he emphasized the importance of cohesive teamwork to secure a much-needed victory. “We are not where we ought to be, but the players know that we can continue to push one another to achieve the results we want. Bendel Insurance is a good side, but my boys will strive to play as a team to get a win,” Boboye affirmed.
