Vice President Kashim Shettima has instructed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to swiftly provide assistance to the victims of the recent drone attack in Tudun Biri community, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State. Shettima conveyed this directive during his visit to Kaduna, expressing condolences to the affected community.

Moved by the situation, Shettima urged NEMA to ensure the timely distribution of ample relief materials to the victims. He revealed the Federal Government’s commitment to enhancing Tudun Biri village, addressing the lack of fundamental services such as schools and hospitals.
Additionally, Shettima unveiled the Pullako Initiative, set to commence next month, which aims to uplift the lives of rural inhabitants and rejuvenate regions affected by insecurity. The initiative, approved by President Bola Tinubu, focuses on states like Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna, and, for fairness, Niger and Benue.
The Vice President praised religious leaders and community elders for their steadfastness against attempts to politicize the incident, emphasizing the need to avoid inflaming sentiments.
