Nigeria’s Data Protection Commission unveils strategy for growth and job creation

In Abuja, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) revealed its strategic roadmap, NDP-SRAP 2023-2027, with the aim of generating N125 billion in revenue and over 500,000 job opportunities. The five-pillar plan focuses on governance, ecosystem and technology, human capital development, cooperation and collaboration, and funding and sustainability. Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner of NDPC, emphasized the critical role of the NDP-SRAP in creating a robust data protection sector aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s agenda for job creation in the digital economy.
