NYSC Coordinator urges responsible engagement for corps members

Hassan Taura, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Coordinator in Kaduna State, has delivered a crucial message to corps members, emphasizing the importance of immediate settlement and dedication to their places of primary assignment (PPAs).

Addressing the corps members during the low-key closing ceremony of the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream ‘II’ orientation course in Kaduna, Taura urged them to promptly integrate into their PPAs and complete all necessary documentation.

“As you leave camp today, you are expected to report to your PPAs promptly and complete all the necessary documentation,” Taura emphasized.

In a bid to ensure the safety of corps members, Taura issued a warning against unauthorized travel outside the state, highlighting the potential dangers they may face on the roads. The directive is aimed at discouraging activities that could expose them to unnecessary risks.

Furthermore, the state coordinator cautioned the corps members against engaging in drug abuse, cybercrime, and the misuse of social media. He emphasized the significance of maintaining a positive image that not only safeguards their lives but also upholds the reputation of their parents and the NYSC.
