Expressing his perspective on the prevailing division between Wike’s camp and Governor Fubara, Primate Ayodele advised against engaging in a futile battle with the FCT minister. In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the clergyman encouraged the governor to prioritize the welfare of the people of Rivers, assuring him that God would intervene on his behalf.
Primate Ayodele cautioned that attempting to fight Wike would lead to failure for Governor Fubara, emphasizing that this is not his battle. He stressed the importance of humility and adherence to promises made to God, urging Fubara to concentrate on serving his people and advancing developmental projects.
In the prophet’s words, “Fubara should humble himself and do what he has promised God. He should not fight Wike; he should leave him alone. He should concentrate on his people and projects. God wants to punish Wike for his wickedness. If Fubara takes a step to fight Wike, he will fail. Let Wike continue to fight himself, God will fight for you.” This divine advice underscores the belief that divine intervention will address the ongoing political tensions in Rivers State.
