Bauchi State University celebrates outstanding achievements with 184 first-class graduates

In a remarkable milestone, Bauchi State University, Gadau, proudly conferred first-class honors upon 184 exceptional graduates during its upcoming inaugural convocation. The university also marked this momentous occasion by awarding second-class upper division distinctions to 3,593 graduates, along with 484 postgraduates across diverse programs including Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Masters, Academic Masters, and 19 recipients of Ph.D. degrees.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Fatima Tahir, shared these impressive statistics during a pre-convocation press conference held on Friday. Professor Tahir highlighted that the university, initiated through the Bauchi State House of Assembly Act of 2009, officially commenced full academic activities in the 2011/2012 session.

This achievement not only reflects the commitment to academic excellence at Bauchi State University but also underscores its significant contribution to advancing education in the region. As the institution prepares for its inaugural convocation on Saturday, December 16, the spotlight shines brightly on the outstanding accomplishments of these graduates, marking a significant chapter in the university’s educational journey.
