The Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) in Jaji, Kaduna State, marked a significant achievement on Saturday as 276 junior military officers graduated under Junior Course 96.

Addressing the graduating students, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja emphasized the importance of the graduation for the officers and their families. He acknowledged their dedication to the course requirements, noting that while some might have preferred an overseas course, they now appreciate the value of their training at Jaji.
Lagbaja highlighted the AFCSC’s commitment to developing the professional knowledge and understanding of selected officers, preparing them for increasing responsibilities in staff and command appointments. He expressed confidence that the course provided a solid foundation and unique tools for the graduates to function optimally in their careers.
The COAS commended the six international students from Burkina Faso, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Togo, acknowledging the diverse perspectives they brought to the course. He urged them to convey appreciation to their respective governments for sending outstanding representatives, emphasizing their role as good ambassadors.
