NYSC initiates remobilization registration: Second chance for unfinished service year

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is set to open its registration portal for the remobilization of absconded Corps members on Monday, 18th December 2023, according to a statement signed by Eddy Megwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations.

Remobilization serves as a second chance process for Corps members who did not complete their service year during their initial mobilization for national service. The statement encourages all Corps members in this category to seize this golden opportunity and complete their service commitments.

In recent developments, the NYSC in Katsina State extended the service of 16 out of the 661 Corps members whose service year officially ended on Friday. The extension was granted due to rule violations and regulation breaches by the affected Corps members. As the registration portal reopens, this initiative provides a valuable opportunity for those who previously fell short to fulfill their service obligations.
