Tinubu pledged to consider NPAN’s request for a review of policies impacting newspaper publishing and addressed concerns raised by the association regarding regulations affecting access to newsprint. Additionally, he assured that the Federal Government would alleviate the high costs of transportation during the festive season by granting waivers to airlines, road, and rail transport operators.
The president expressed his attentiveness to the ongoing situation in the country and extended gratitude for the support, opinions, and criticisms provided by the media.
