Federal Government’s yuletide transportation initiative: List of participating companies and routes revealed

The Federal Government’s initiative to alleviate transportation costs for Nigerians during the Yuletide has disclosed the list of participating companies in the scheme. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, shared the information on his X handle, identifying five transportation companies collaborating with the government for the program. The companies named for the initiative include GIG (God is Good), Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow, God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motor. This move is part of President Tinubu’s announcement of a 50% reduction in fares for commercial buses on inter-state routes during the festive season.
