Tekno opens up about being “selfish” and prioritizing happiness

Renowned Nigerian singer Augustine Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno, has candidly shared his perspective on self-love, labeling himself as “selfish” because he places a high value on enjoying life to the fullest.

In a recent interview with content creator Franck Fun in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, Tekno expressed his unapologetic focus on personal happiness. Revealing his full name as Kelechukwu Augustine and proudly stating his roots in Ebonyi State, he shed light on his approach to life.

“I love myself so much. I am a very selfish person. But it’s okay to be selfish. Because for life, na only dem born and na only you go walka go,” Tekno declared.

Returning to his hometown, the ‘Pana’ crooner expressed excitement about experiencing local dishes, emphasizing his desire to savor the flavors of Ebonyi after indulging in various international cuisines as an “American boy.”

Offering advice to the younger generation, Tekno encouraged them to prioritize enjoyment in everything they do.
