Primate Ayodele foresees Nigeria’s potential breakup in 2035 without restructuring

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has made a prediction concerning Nigeria’s future, suggesting a potential breakup in 2035 if significant restructuring doesn’t occur under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.

Primate Ayodele clarified that the envisioned breakup would not be orchestrated by Biafra activist Nnamdi Kanu or Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho. Speaking to journalists in Lagos on Friday, the cleric emphasized that the dissolution would unfold naturally due to citizens growing weary of coexisting.

“We must be very watchful because Nigeria will break up in 2035, only God will stop it. If this government fails to restructure Nigeria, the country will break up,” warned Primate Ayodele.

Importantly, he clarified that figures like Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho would not play a direct role in the country’s division. Instead, Primate Ayodele envisaged a scenario where people, fatigued by the challenges of unity, would demand a referendum, triggering a natural process of dissolution.

As concerns about the future of Nigeria persist, Primate Ayodele’s insights underscore the urgency of addressing issues related to governance, unity, and the need for comprehensive restructuring to avert a potential breakup.
