Expressing condolences to Akeredolu’s wife, immediate family, and the people of Ondo State, Oba Akanbi emphasized the significant role the late governor played in safeguarding Yorubaland. He hailed Akeredolu as a nationalist and a champion, noting that history would remember him kindly.
