Nigerian music sensation Bella Shmurda made headlines recently as he turned down a portrait gift featuring him and his late friend, Mohbad.

In a widely circulated message on the internet, Bella Shmurda was captured on stage during a performance when an attendee presented a portrait depicting him alongside the late singer, Mohbad. In a now-trending message, Bella expressed his reluctance to accept the gift, citing the reason that he couldn’t keep it in his house.

Speaking in Yoruba, he conveyed, “You that brought this picture will be the same person to take it back because I can’t put this in my house, but I will give you money.”

It’s noteworthy that Mohbad, a former signee of the Marlian Record label, passed away under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27.
