Toke Makinwa claps back at troll ridiculing her crush on Drake

Popular Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa has taken on a social media troll who criticized her admiration for Canadian rapper Drake.

In response to a blog’s coverage of Makinwa’s revelation about her “massive crush on Drake for so many years,” the troll, @Ugootweets, reposted the tweet, dismissing Makinwa’s crush on Drake as “peak delusion & fooling.” He went on to suggest that the actress must be delusional to think that Drake would choose a “40+ woman” like her over hundreds of 22-year-olds in his direct messages.

Infuriated by the comment, Toke Makinwa didn’t hold back in her response.

She retorted, “Imagine being related to someone who tweets or thinks like this? God abeg o. Your mother should have swallowed, cos this is a sorry excuse of a human being. Do better.”

Makinwa made it clear that she wouldn’t let trolls bully her this year, asserting, “I have a mouth too, and I will no longer look away if you come at me left. No be me do you,” adding a touch of assertiveness to her stance.
