However, in the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, Don Jazzy implied that Mavin Records isn’t actively seeking a sale but is attracting interest from potential investors.
During the podcast, he clarified that Mavin Records is a lucrative entity with significant potential, leading to interest from foreign investors. Don Jazzy emphasized that the label has been in partnership with its current investor, Kupanda Holdings, for five years, and while the partnership won’t last indefinitely, Mavin Records remains an attractive prospect for potential investors.
In his words, “Obviously, a bunch of people are interested in investing in Mavin. If you have gold or diamonds, people will always patronise you. And Mavin Records has a lot of potential.”
