Prophet Austin Ariole Dismisses BBC’s Probe on T.B. Joshua, Urges Respect for the Deceased

Prophet Austin Ariole, the General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle (GFT), has criticized the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for its probe into the activities of the late Lagos Cleric, Prophet Temitope Joshua, popularly known as T.B. Joshua. During a service in Effurun, Delta State, Prophet Ariole argued that the investigation lacks substance, emphasizing the need to “let the dead rest.”

Challenging the BBC, Ariole suggested that they initiate a probe into the Catholic Church, particularly addressing the Pope’s statements on gay marriages and churches that have supported masturbation. He questioned the motivation behind the documentary on T.B. Joshua, highlighting the positive contributions the late cleric made, such as aiding the hungry.

Expressing skepticism about the documentary’s focus on a deceased individual, Prophet Ariole raised concerns about the intentions of those accusing T.B. Joshua. He emphasized the universal judgment awaiting everyone, including prominent figures like Papa Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo, highlighting the divine evaluation recorded in the “book of life.”
